Business hours are set in place for a reason, and yes my
business hours do vary from day to day, depending on appointments or other
obligations. My business hours are posted on my website as
a guideline for times I am available for photo sessions, it doesn't necessarily
mean times I am available for drops offs or pickups. I always send out a message on pickup times
when orders arrive. I have asked politely
numerous times not to come during non-posted/non-available hours, but I feel as
though I need to send out a reminder again.
Just because I run this business out of my home, does not give people
the right to stop in unannounced at all hours banging on my door. You like to clock out of your job right? Well
so do I. This is not only where I have
studio photo sessions, but this is also my home, where my family is. I feel that it is unacceptable to stop in
unannounced during non-available hours, knocking on my door, which clearly has
a closed sign in place, especially when I sent out a message stating I was not
available for the day at all. I am
growing tired of this line being crossed,
as people have been stopping in unannounced at all hours, including
11pm, which is completely unacceptable. This also goes for phone calls as well. You have 30 days to order prints from your
gallery. If you have questions, you have
30 days to ask. Please don’t wait until
the night your gallery is expiring and continually call me to ask
questions. I’m not a doctor, and I’m not
‘On Call’ when it suits you. I have
hours for a reason, I ask again for everyone to please respect that. Thank you. MHP
